pretty Braunscheck mare "Bibi" - For sale our bay pinto mare Bibi Blocksberg, born 2018 and registered with the Irish Piebald and Skewbald Association (IPSA).
With her striking brown and white coat and a compact height of approx. 1.50 m, she is not only an eye-catcher, but also has great potential for use in dressage and leisure riding.
Bibi is a young horse with a solid foundation in basic training. She knows how to work on the lunge and classical ground work. The three basic gaits are well synchronized. Under the rider she is attentive, willing to learn and sensitive.
Bibi was ridden by our 17-year-old daughter until last fall, but due to an illness she is no longer able to work with Bibi on a permanent basis and continue her training. We are therefore looking for a new permanent home for her.
Bibi has been back in training since mid-December and is proving to be very willing to learn and enjoy her work. She particularly enjoys being ridden out. In the field she shows interest and can be controlled at all times. If someone is initially out with her alone in an unfamiliar environment, she needs the rider's safety and calm and also the time to look at everything in peace. However, she never becomes headless.
Bibi is a young horse in training and needs an experienced, calm and consistent caregiver to accompany her development. She is therefore not necessarily suitable for beginners or children.
Bibi is friendly, people-oriented and very cooperative in daily contact. She is familiar with both open stables and stalls with daily access to pasture and currently lives in a mixed herd where she behaves in a social and low-ranking manner. She is easy to groom, lead and load and also shows her best side at the farrier, vet and osteopath.
In terms of health, she is in a well-kept and robust condition. She has been regularly wormed, vaccinated and undergone osteopathic treatment. There are no known previous illnesses or health restrictions.
Bibi is ideal for experienced leisure riders or those with dressage ambitions who enjoy it and are also looking for the challenge of further training a young, sensitive horse and supporting it in the long term. She is very suitable as a riding horse.
Suitable accessories (e.g. saddle fitted by a saddler with additional gullets, bridle) can also be purchased on request.
