Moonlight Jack is a marble pinto and super sweet to handle, but still has go when ridden. He is only being sold because he has given up riding for health reasons. Jack needs a safe rider as he is sensitive and trust is essential. I have owned him for 10 years and bought him raw when he was 5 years old. Jack was in western riding for 4 weeks for training. He can be loaded alone with 1 person, is easy to handle, totally sociable and children can be around him at any time and he would not kick viciously. I would like an open stable for Jack, not a box stall as he likes to move around. It would be stipulated in the contract that he may not be sold on. Jack has go in the field but is not a walker or bucker. He also likes ground work very much. Due to his rather delicate build he needs a light rider up to 70 kg. A fixed caregiver would be very important for him. He is not suitable for riding with a changing rider. He does everything for his owner. Jack runs through the terrain on the quad without any problems, turns in circles on command and gives the bucket on command after eating. He can certainly still learn a thing or two. It would be great if he could get a place on the flat as he has some problems going downhill. Unfortunately I have already taken him to 2 veterinary clinics but without any real results. Now that I have had a serious knee operation and can no longer bend my leg well, I would like to give Jack the opportunity to find a loving owner. He urgently needs to be worked as he also likes to eat and is rather light on food. Jack has no eczema, laminitis or similar. I could imagine someone training him for driving. You only need to give him short commands and he knows immediately what you want. He doesn't like pressure with the whip and it's enough if you just hold it in your hand or do it without and correct him with a rope.
