Icelandic side horse - Roeskur is a treasure. I am looking for a suitable long-term solution for him in Icelandic company - preferably with a family connection or with someone who likes him and appreciates his great horse personality. Roeskur is being sold as a side horse. Despite his 25 years, he is active and attentive to everything around him, comes to me with interest when I whistle, wants to come along and do something. People are important to him, he seeks closeness and gives it back. He is very sociable in the herd and gives other horses a sense of security. At present, Roeskur is still ridden in three gaits by lighter adults and children - but unfortunately he often stumbles. Riding can therefore no longer be recommended. He can be led and cared for by small children. Roeskur is well-behaved and confident. He knows the life of a riding horse and the farm, but also walks on a halter, trail work, ground work...
