Condition: used and used for 1 winter, previously painted with food-safe oil. The feed grids are used and slightly frayed in places (see photo), the guide rails have already had the threaded rod replaced once each.
Info from the manufacturer: The crate is made of solid spruce wood from local forests. The wood comes from sustainable forestry and is PEFC certified. The spruce crate is industrially manufactured and weighs approx. 25 kg. It has a filling volume of 240 liters, which corresponds to a hay volume of 9-15 kg. This is highly dependent on the hay structure. The floor and the feed fence are made of a special plastic that does not break or splinter. This also makes it particularly slip-resistant. The plastic feed fence is tooth and gum friendly (in contrast to any fence or fence elements made of metal, which are also often used). The feed fence can be removed through a gap at the side for filling.
The crate has the following dimensions: Inside 1.00m x 0.50m x 0.48m Outside 1.10m x 0.60m x 0.54m high In the Fix Plus hay box, the feed fence is also fixed in two guides so that it is impossible to remove the fence. Nevertheless, the grid can be quickly removed for filling.
