20 year old Tinker mare - I am looking for a good end place for my 20 year old Tinker-Paint mare. She could theoretically still be ridden, but she hasn't been moved since the summer and needs to build up her muscles again. She stands in an open stable and goes barefoot. She used to do educational riding with children. She has a metabolic problem, is not sweet itch, when her coat changes she needs a sufficient zinc cure to prevent this problem. She also gets no treats and only a handful of swollen sainfoin with her mineral feed, so I have it well under control. The rule for her is: less is more. She was ridden with a Barefoot treeless saddle. Saddle is no longer available, 2 sweat rugs, hackamore, bridle with snaffle, grooming box, saddle blanket, fly masks and fly rug would be included.
