Shire Horse mare Scarlett - Scarlett was born in March 2021 and is a beautiful Shire Horse mare.
Due to her pedigree (both parents come from the "old" Shire Horse breeding lines) she also promises to become an impressive representative of the Shire Horse breed.
Scarlett's character is very people-oriented, cuddly and sweet to handle. The daily contact with her is completely uncomplicated. Leading her, tying her up, grooming her, giving her hooves, taking her to the vet, driving her on a trailer, etc. have all been no problem so far. However, she is rather skeptical of strange things at first. She probably inherited this from her mom, who is a life insurance in handling, but at the beginning she looks at everything and everyone critically. So we affectionately call her our "skeptical mammoth".
For Scarlett we wish a new home where she can arrive in peace and with enough time, calmness and patience she gets the security she needs to gain trust.
She will grow up together with other Shire Horses of different ages in a mixed herd in an open stable. She will only be given away in an age appropriate environment so that she has plenty of time to mature and thrive.
Of course Scarlett is vaccinated and wormed regularly. She also has full papers from the English Shire Horse Society.
If you are interested in Scarlett, you are welcome to get to know her at any time, further photos/videos will be sent to you upon request.
